I would like to add my company's logo to pictures I've been rendering in Revit, then make a JPEG. I have been able to import our logo from AutoCAD (just as a dwg file) into the rendering under "Renderings - 3D View 1" ... but in that view you can't export the image to make a JPEG. I tried to import the logo when in "3D View 1," but Revit won't allow it because there is no work plane. I also tried creating a sheet with the logo, which did work, but the text looks crappy (pixelated). If anyone has any ideas or suggestions, I would really appreciate it. I've attached a rendering to show how I'd like it to look ...

I don't suppose you have Photoshop. I made my title block business name in photoshop and did some wicked font beveling and drop shadows and such and I still get compliments about it. It gives it a 3d look that pops right out of the page. Maybe as a last resort you could try (gasp!) Paint. I know it's a couple of steps more. I don't know how to do it in Revit. Wish I could help you there.

Thanks for the ideas. I have Photoshop at home and am just starting to learn it .... but I'll play around with it as you suggested and see what happens. I don't know if Paint will help me to do what I'm trying to do, but I'll check it out, too. Thanks again!

If you have photoshop, don't bother with paint. What you do is render your drawing, save as a jpg, then open it in photoshop. It will be your background layer, then just simply click the text button and type what you'd like. After typing, over on the right hand side (hopefully) is your layers palette. Right click where it has your text layer and select blending options. Usually all I do is use drop shadow and bevel. You can play around with the settings to get the look you're after.

Thank you for the suggestion and instructions on how to do it .... I can't wait to try it! Love what you did with your company's name .... it looks really cool. I can't wait to learn Photoshop and see what else you can do to enhance what you do in Revit. Thanks again : -)
