We have a large project divided into several models. One of the models is strictly structural elements. When i imported the link into the host file structural symbols began to appear at every column in plan view and elevation/section. I haven't been able to turn these off. Does anyone have any experience with this sort of problem?

you can turn them off type VV to bring Visibility/Graphics under annotations categories scroll down to Structural Framing Tags (or what ever they are) and untick...
