I am learning Revit through tutorials My project is to design my highschool in revit. So far, I have put in the foundation walls, the floor, the walls, the ceilings, the ramps and stairs I want to apply textures (brick, tiles) to what I have built so far. I went through the galleries and I don't understand how everyone makes the buildings so realistic I don't know how to make .pat files. I read that you can make them with photoshop but my photoshop wont save in that format Is there any other program you use to make the buildings look like that?

First, your Revit comes with lots of pattern files, I'm sure you can find Bricks pattern there. you will need to go to your wall properties-->edit/new-->edit structure and change your material. you can import ACAD .pat files into revit as well. if you want to create a new pattern all together, there is a program that you will need to purchase, it's somewhere on the forums... ![Smile](/images/smiles/smile.gif)
