Hello everybody: I'm Willem (Bill actually, but there must be other Bills), new to Revit 9.1, am an Architect, and have found Revit to be like new staff member except I don't have to pay benefits. Got into it pretty quickly, but a few areas baffle. I hope that the community can help from time to time as I grow into this amazing tool. Question 1: How can I edit a System Family, eg Repeating Detail, Brick ? I need to change the brick format to differing dimensions from the default in 9.1. All I seem to be able to edit is the spacing (65), but even that does strange things. Looking forward to solutions!

Materials, go to Settings>Materials and select the name from the assigned material for your wall (should be something like Masonry - Brick). Over to the right is the Accurender material and surface pattern. Under Accurender, right click the material assigned and click edit. Or, pick the wall, select the properties button (right above the browser, with a hand pointing), click edit/new>edit structure, select the brick material and same as above.
