One of my students wants to know if it is possible to change the reference of a component's parametric dimension after the component has been located.  As an example, a window is located from an interior wall on the left side of a room.  Once placed, can that reference, the left side of the room, be changed to say the right side of the room instead without deleting the object and re-inserting the component.

certainly, just delete the referencing dimension and place another one on the other side.

You also edit and reference line to read from another spot by simply clicking the blue squares and dragging it to the right and letting it snap to the point you want and letting go. Real easy.

That's what I was gonna say! It's the blue square that's in the middle part of your reference line, not the one at the end.
