I want to put a freize board where the wall meets the roof. I was going to use wall sweeps but I can't figure out to get the wall sweeps to angle where there is a gable roof. Is this possible with wall sweeps or do I need to look at doing it differently? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The best way I found is to use a roof fascia sweep, attach it to the outside edge of the roof, then you have to manually move it against the wall.
Hope this helps

Is there an easier way to do this?

Use reference lines. not reference planes to make the angle reference you need. Reference lines have end points and are designed specifically for that purpose. I hope this helped.

Did this change for version 2011? I created a roof fascia but it will not let me move it. We jumped a few versions and am still trying to figure out where things are. How do you make a reference line?

There is a vertical profile offset that can be used to move teh facia up/down in relation to the roof edge.
BTW - The poster above yours that said to use reference lines .... If they know how to have reference lines in the model, I would like to know. They are available in the family editor, including in-place families but not in the model environment.

How do you move it back to the wall @ gable roof locations?

There is also a horizontal offset but your question suggests you need a different solution. Attached is a simple in-place sweep that will automatically join at the corners.
