What do you mean? I'm not sure what you're attempting to do?
By the sounds of things Filters are what you need, but it will depend on what exactly your trying to achieve to whether you need to use them or not.

Thank you for your prompt response, i am sorry that i didn't describe the situation clear earlier.
what i trying to do is that i have some toilets in the plan that i want to show but at the same time i have some sinks that i don't want to show in the document, and two objects are plumbing fixtures, so when i turn off plumbing fixture in visibility dialog. both of them turn off. and i can't change the truth that they are all plumbing fixtures. so i wonder that is there anyway i can isolate the bathroom area so i can show toilets and turn off plumbing fixture for the rest of the area? if you can help me, i will very very appreciate it. thank you very much

Two methods:
1. Edit the families and place the model elements in a subcategory of the plumbing fixtures. This way you can turn off the subcategories only.
2. Create a filter in the project. Use settings like:
Filter-->Plumbing Fixtures-->Type Name does not contain Toilets... Will depending on how your files are named (they are case sensitive)
HTH.
Sorry for the delay. Been flat out lately.
