Does anyone know how to make a custom interior elevation tag. In certain ocasions the tag extends over the kitchen graphics (depending on the scale of the view of course)but it has been an issue for me when I have added it in a 1/8" or 1/4" scale view. If I try to edit it it tells me that it is a system family and it is not possible to edit 1/2" circle for elevation tag.

There are two things that you need to do: 1. Create or modify the system elevation tag. 2. Make sure that you are using the created or modified tag To create or modify an elevation tag: Go to Settings and choose View Tags --> Elevation Tags. The resulting window will show that it's a system family and the Type can be either 1/2" Square or 1/2" Circle. At the bottom, there's a width variable. That's the width or circumference of the graphic. You could just change it. But that wouldn't be so clean. I suggest hitting the Duplicate button and then as an example, naming the new Type 3/8" Circle. Then set the width to be 3/8". You can also choose where to place the text, whether or not it's filled etc. I found that making the Square smaller made the arrow too small to contain the drawing number. So I pout my text outside and made the arrow filled. Now you need to make sure that your actually using the elevation tag you created or changed. Actually, if you just changed the width of the 1/2" Circle/Square type, it will automatically update. But if you created a new Type (such as 3/8" Circle) you need to select one of the elevation tags you've already placed in the drawing. Then choose Properties and click the Edit / New button. In the resulting window, pick the new Elevation Tag name from the drop down list. Just keep in mind that you access the properties of the tag after selecting the circle or square, not the arrow part of the tag. The properties of the arrow are actually the properties of the resulting view, not those of the tag itself. Hope that helps. Zak
