IS THERE A WAY TO CUT AND PASTE TEXT AND GEOMETRY FROM AUTOCAD INTO REVIT.

Why not Import it into your Revit File and make sure link is unchecked
This will bring in any geometry and text from AutoCAD.

You can copy/paste text from CAD into Revit. I did it with all our general notes. You need to have both CAD and Revit open. Get your text box ready in Revit. In CAD open the text box as if you would edit it and copy/paste whatever texting you want in Revit (copy to clip board). In Revit, in the text dialod box you can now paste whatever you copied to the clipboard. I agree with the other response as far as graphics. It's also super easy to link, draw over and dump the CAD drawing when you're done.
