i render a view, capture image, it askes me if i want to replace it (yes), updates my presentation sheet... save, relinguish, close. open the next day and all the renderings except one revert back to the old renderings...
any help is appreciated,

I remember this issue back from Revit 4.5
It struggles with the replacing of the image. Rename the old file first or delete it before capture the other rendering. For this reason and also file size. I always export out the images rather than keeping them in the file and then re-import them as required if they need to go on sheets.
