hi..
i am looking for a web link that gives us information about the
concept of building blocks in architectural design development. does anyone
know anything with regard to this please??

Look up anything by Frank (or Francis) Ching. If any of his stuff is online it would be worth looking at. But you'd be better off heaading to the library/bookstor and picking up his Form, Space and Order book.
