Help, I need to create a wall that can house a recessed window.
The wall is precast & goes from a 600 vertical wall turning into a sill (Horizonatl wall)about 150 then vertical again for 1800 (this is where the window is placed) then returning back again for 150 then finally a last vertical length.
Really at a loss as to the best way to create this & I'm hoping for some pointers or be told it cant be done!
Thanks in advance.

Personally I would use a compound ceiling for the horizontal portion and break the two vertical sections into two walls.

I'd do it as a stacked wall. The horizontal section would be a nested wall sweep in the lower wall settings.
Basically the stacked wall would consist of three walls.
A. The lower wall of 600 high with a sweep nested at its top.
B. The middle wall that runs from 600 to 1800mm high
C. The upper wall consisting of a sweep at its base with an unconnected height allowing this wall to attach or change height as necessary.
Obviously this wall could not be created if its extents don't exceed 1900mm high.
You will then be able to place a window in the middle wall as required.
HTH.

Hi I am having a similar problem, I am trying to mitre a horizontal wall with a vertical one. But the best way that I have found to draw a horizontal wall is to first draw an inplace mass and then draw the wall to a face of the mass, you can then delete the mass and the wall will stay. Hope this helps.
