This is a really annoying problem, but is probably easily solved?
I am trying to draw walls with a survey underlay, the existing building is not straight and when I draw the walls or lines the program stops me from drawing lines that are slightly diagonal.
I do not have the grid on, I have turned off the length & angular snaps, and all other snaps apart from intersection, end line etc.
To get the line to follow the survey I have to draw the line then rotate it afterwards, really silly way of drawing.
Can anyone help

If the underlay is a JPEG or other Raster image, you've got me. This is an annoying stumble.
However, if you've imported a vector image, you sould be able to select "Pick Line" after you've selected "Detail Lines" or "Lines".
