Hello
How do I get rid of "redundant rooms?" do I need to create a room boundary around the entire perimeter of a room?
Thanks

In my experience, Revit always gives you a warning when a redundant room is created - primarily by the deletion of a common wall. I usually cancel the delete command, erase the room first with its associated room tag, and then delete the wall. As for how to delete one that was already created, I think you just have to pan around the area of the room until you find the room "X" of the redundant room and delete it. Don't forget that they also appear any time you initiate the ROOM tool (they all turn blue). That will also give you the redundant room's location.

If you create a room schedule with areas shown, all the redundant rooms will show up as "redundant room" in the Area field.
In the schedule you can then simply highlite the row of the offending room and hit the delete button.
