i tried to import a revit file into viz render and it turned into poly lines..is there a quik way of changing this or preventing this from happening as i converted to a dwg file then took it to viz. not only does it change to poly lines but it runs twice as slow because of this. any hints or tips or anything would help because i want to try and render in viz-studio max with a original revit file because revit is much easier to work with although i like to use viz for rendering and fly bys to make comparisons on the rendering between both programs thanks

you have to export a 3d view, and in viz you'll use the file link manager to bring in your DWG with the revit modell, set your presets to Revit, make shure you rescale .... in the tutorials of the help menu in VIZ there is a good tutorial of how to work with Revit files, I have found that I can work with all my building components like walls glacing frames etc to improve materials and continue working in the revit model and the two files stay linked until I bind the revit file in VIZ .... really cool conection between those two programs Smile
