Anyone had an issue with how Revit is calculating material areas when using the material schedule feature?
For example if I place the straight out of the box Fixed: 36" x 72" window to the project and then generate a Window Material Schedule for this one window I get the following results:
Glass - 30 SF
Sash - 56 SF
Simple math tells me 3' x 6' = 18 SF of some material max for that window size. I don't think Revit is multiplying wrong, I just really like to know what is using to get these numbers. Is it doing both sides, rough openings, adding in sill heigts or floor to floor elevations. Walls seem to work correctly, but windows have some weird Kung Fu associated with them.
