Hi, again. Has anybody experience this, when we use split surface & paint function, it doesn't reflex the material changed via paint in the schedule? Example in Wall, I have tried using split surface & paint to change the wall material but in the wall schedule (my case, in wall area), it didn't show the differences and it still shows the total area for generic wall. In order to show the different in area, we must split the wall & duplicate the wall & specify them correctly by edit structure & then join geometry again.. This way will be a lot of work if we have a lot of different finishes at different levels or even shapes!! Anyway to get aound this?!

As far as i'm aware the paint tool is only for cosmetic purposes and i don't think it can be scheduled as it doesn't physically change the properties of the wall structure... Sorry. Not much help. Maybe in 7...
