i am having trouble downloading components from the Revit city family explroer.
i run Revit 8 and when i try to download a component only text comes up.

I'm unable to download using my primary internet browser which is Mozilla Firefox which I suspect is due to restrictions set by our IT Administrator. But, I can download from RevitCity using MS Internet Explorer. This may be something for you to look into.

i am having trouble downloading components from the Revit city family explroer.
i run Revit 8 and when i try to download a component only text comes up.
i may be wrong, but many of the families have been created in release 8.1 or higher. if that is the case 8.0 wont be able to open them. one of the big negatives of not being on subscription.
