The only way that i have found to and lights under metal framing is to add a ceiling. Since I work for an all steel company i run into this all the time. However not everyone wants a ceiling in there buildings like a sports gym, so i create a ceiling with transparent material and move it to the underside of the roof framing. then when you attach the lights to the ceiling they appear to be attached to the metal frames. I hope that helps you .   CDYER36
