Is it just me? I have recieved my 2 cds which came with no instructions and tried running disk 1. As a result of instructions on the screen I have uninstalled my earlier version of acad 2007 and reinstalled from the new cds. But - No changes to Revit. I have searched on the web and the readme files but can find no guidence. I have spent 2 hours so far trying to figure out what to do but who is going to pay for my time? I do wish Autodesk would try and make life easy for once. Can anyone help?

If you look on the Revit DVD there is a subfolder with the 9.1 new features and release notes on it. HTH.

Thanks for the info. I do not have a dvd reader in my pc and the cds do not seem to contain any such info. It seems incredible to me that I should reieve Revit 9.1 cds that won't load the software.

So you can't get it to install? What is the error you're getting trying to install? I thought you were just after info on whats new in 9.1? If you're having trouble with your CD's download revit from the website. http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/item?siteID=123112&id=7142518

Thanks for your suggestion. I did not want to download the upgrade - I thought it would take several hours or more. It did. If the cds had been quality assured before being dispatched I would not have wasted 1/2 a day.

I Talked to my dealer, he said that the only changes to 9.1 were compatibility w/ revit struct. he said that unless you were using revit struct you would not see any difference between 9.0 and 9.1....

Sounds like you have sorted this out now but when I received my upgrade disks I too thought where is the revit upgrade after loading the 2 disks. I actually found an additional disk inside the box hidden behind the revit getting started guide...DOH!!

Revit 9.1 was issued on a DVD for the first time. If you do not have a DVD drive you will not be able to read them. Inform Autodesk that you would like to receive further upgrades in CD format or buy a DVD drive. HTH

Not sure who told you, you wont notice any difference between 9.0 and 9.1. As always with revit upgrades, once you've upgrade a file to 9.1 you will no longer be able to open it in Revit 9.0. There are a number of new features, but it is only a minor release and nowhere near as many features as say the 8.1 to 9.0 releases. HTH.
