Sorry that I am posting this here, rather than under Jobs; but I don't have the right user status to post in the Jobs section. However, the following is a very real (and very urgent) job posting. I can be contacted at pdror@kimmel.com. Thank you! Building Information Modeling (BIM) Director - Kansas Multibillion dollar general contracting corporation seeks a Building Information Modeling (BIM) Director. The successful candidate will lead the development and integration of Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology into the companies Midwest operations, and perhaps beyond. This is an exciting new leadership position; an opportunity to implement cutting-edge systems that will radically change the design, construction and management phases of projects, while also increasing the quality, productivity and profitability of projects. The successful candidate must have: a minimum of 10 years experience in the design and/or construction of commercial building structures; BS Degree (or equivalent) in Construction Management, Engineering or Architecture required (MS degree preferred); demonstrated knowledge of Building Information Modeling and potential impact on AEC (architecture / engineering / construction) business; demonstrated proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and DWF Viewer/Design Review. Please email me a contact telephone number, along with a few suggestions as to the best time to call you. Either I will call you, or else the VP for whom I am doing the leg-work. At that point we will give you further details, and determine together with you if there appears to be a good fit.

There should be a link to my email; but just in case:

pdror@kimmel.com

Thanks!
