Is there a way to adjust window sizes of an existing window family? I have placed windows, but they only have certain sizes......do I have to literally build a new window family for each window size as the property to adjust the width and height is greyed out. E.g. If I have a sliding window and the sizes are 900,1200,1500 and I just want to make the same window become 1800 I cant do it as the option is greyed out. Coming from ADT where I can just type the width and height I thought it would be similar but apparently not??

Easy Option 1 - In current project Select the window, click the properties button, then click edit / new, then click duplcate, then give it a name with the new sizes, then change the actual sizes in the properties for width, height, then ok, ok, ok. Option 2 - For future Projects You can also select the window, then click Edit Family, then ok. Once in the familiy editor click Family Types on the left and then add many new sizes via the Family Types Dialog box.. After your are done Apply and save the revised family file and then Load into Project to push it out to the open projects. There are lots of free and purchacable REVIT tutorials including detailed Family tutorials at http://www.dgcad.com
