Yes, you can do this, but it takes a bit of outside the box thinking. 1) What you need to do is set the desktop to extend acroos all of the monitors you want to use. 2) Start revit Architecture. It will either appear in a single monitor or across all of the monitors combined. 3) Make sure that Revit is set to be in a floating window (one that is not locked in place but can be moved). 4) Move the Revit Window so the top left corner of the window aligns with the top left corner of your furthest left monitor (top left monitor if you stack monitors vertically) 5) Drag the bottom right corner of the Revit window to align with the bottom right corner of your bottom-right most monitor. 6) When you open up views within a project, make them flowating windows, and you can move them around in any way you wish across all the monitors now. 7) Save these settings in Revit For example. I currently use 3 Monitors. The Center is my main with 2 flanking monitors on either side. With Revit extended over all the monitors I use the left monitor for 3d Views of my model, the center monitor I use for the floor plans, and the right monitor for elevations and sections. The only drawback is that the Design Bar and Menu Bar is on the far left side. The Project Browser can be moved however to where ever you want it. There might be a way to move the Design Bar, but it doesn't bother me where it is, so I haven't looked into it. The good part about Revit is there is more than 1 way to get to a command (ie Right Cliking) and if you take the time to conform to them, then this becomes a minor issue. Unfortunately, it is not an automatic thing and takes time to learn how to set-up, but once you do, it works beautifully. Also, I personally believe that by Revit being set up like this, it offers a bit of personal flexibility. If you have any questions, just reply and I will help as best as I can. Good Luck. I htink I will make this solution a new thread.
