I see there are already 2 posts on this forum that ask this same question, but I can't figure out how the answers work.
How do I align Floors on multiple sheets? How to make sure that the floors are on the same location on each sheet?
A suggestion was made to add ref-lines to the family. I did and although I can't see these lines (they don't show up in the project sheets views), I can snap to them. But than, how to snap a viewport to the ref-lines? I can't get a snap on a viewport when I try to move, nor can I snap to building elements inside the viewport since the viewport is not active.
How can I center a viewport on a sheet?
Thanks!

in short" you can't!
you can add a line or an X to your title sheet family and try and move your plans to come close to it, it won't snap so you'll have to do it by eye.

OR, INSTEAD OF DOING IT ON THE TEMPLATE TITLE SHEET YOU CAN DO THE SAME ON THE PROJECT'S TITLE SHEET
DRAW A LINE ON THE FIRST SHEET ALIGN YOUR FLOOR TO THAT LINE (BY EYE) THEN COPY A PASTE (CURRENT VIEW) THE LINE ONTO THE NEXT SHEET AND ALIGN YOUR OTHER FLOOR TO THAT LINE, AND SO ON AND SO ON

you still need to do it by eye, you can't snap but it will get close.
i know they are talking about this feature in future release...

Well, now I see why I could find the answer to my question.
Thanks for the replies, and hopefully they will integrate such a feature in future releases.

I just tried this in 2011. you can snap to grids in the plan view and use em to align to something on the sheet (a small tick or whatever). i'm so pumped right now.
