Im currently looking at starting a model on a development that has 4 seperate buildings, but all share one basement.
Considering i dont really know how the project is being staged, what would be the best plan of attack ???

i would model it all in one project using the worksets, and having one workset for each building and one for the basement. depending on size of each building and how many people are working on the project you may need a lot more worksets.
