I am trying to snap to the center point of an arc while dimensioning using the linear or aligned dimensioning tool, but I can not get a snap point so that I can locate the centerpoint orthogonally. Can I snap to a centerpoint while dimensioning? If so, how?

Revit doesn't seem to dimension to arcs in a conventional manner. When I've had problems like this, I've added invisible lines and used those. NOT the best solution but it will get you by.

here is some info from the Revit Beginners blog:
1. Draw an arc (wall or line doesn't matter). Goto its properties and you can check "Center Mark Visible" if you need to dimension to the center point of an arc.

Turn on the Center Mark in the properties of the Arc Wall.

The wall and line work as far as showing center mark work great. But what if you want to linear dimension to a radius point dimension?

You could always draw a reference plane that passes thru the center of your arch opening. Dimension always snaps to ref. plane.

I know I can add that but it is more of a graphic thing lining up tick marks. Just hoped there was a key method I did not know about grabbing that blue grip that shows when you select a rad. dimension - but thanks for the quick reply!
