As far as i know, for sloping wall, you have to create in place or create family for it.
you mean sloping and angulate, did you mean cone shapes or irregular shapes? if cone shapes probably you can try to create using solid>revolve (for full cone shape), If for half-cone or irregular shapes, I think solid> blend or solid> revolve to create a full cone and void> extrude to hide the side you want to hide.
Hope it can create what you want coz I am pretty new to revit as well.

thank you for that.
And we have two of us in our office at the end of the work day on Friday trying to figure this out.
What I am trying to create are flat sloping walls that have differing top & bottom dimensions.

I think the best tool to use here is solid>blend, if you are just doing sloping flat wall with same top & bottom dimension, solid> extrude will be just nice, you just have to rotate to the slope you want once you finish extrude.
Haha, enjoy your Friday, Irish. I am off now. guess you should be at home by now, right? nvm, you can get to this reply on next Monday.

Farely new also and maybe I'm not understanding the question, but if your looking to angle the sides and slope the top plate why wouldn't you just create the walls to your bottom dims, select the wall and edit the profile? If your looking to slope the walls out of plumb then perhaps you should construct your walls with a roof.

Sorry, it is my mistake to make the simple subject seems so difficult.
Rythmick's idea is correct for the slope & angled walls. edit wall will do.
Arc slanted curtain wall? is it related to ruled curtain wall?
