When i build a shedual at the moment its all by itam in exel but is there a way to build a lintel type and then add this lintel to a shedual of windows or/and doors in revit itself and then export it to exel.
How would i build a lintel in revit to start with, Please give me some ideas.
i also need the lintels to be visable in a section through a door or window.

If you want to shedule it separately from the doors/windows, you might be best creating a wall hosted generic model with an adjustable width. Alternatively you could include it in your door or window families and add a text parameter indicating the lintel type...
All depends on how you want to schedule it really. Nesting it in the door/window family would be easier to place...
