I DOWNLOADED SOME PATTERNS BUT YET SMOE DON'T WORK WITHOUT A DRAFTING AND SOME DO. hOWEVER ANOTHER ISSUE IS THAT THEY DON'T SHOW A PREVIEW WHERE OTHERS DO. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT IS UP WITH THIS ISSUE OR WHAT I AM DOING WRONG OR NEED TO DO. THANKS.

Patterns that don't display are either too coarse or too dense to display in the preview. Adjust the Scale to have these display (you have to click on the name of the Pattern before the scale becomes active).
Patterns are either drafting or model patterns. To specify what you want edit the PAT file in Notepad and add a ;%TYPE=DRAFTING or ;%TYPE=MODEL value at the begining you
