How do you create a store front windows with doors? How do you make an overhang, for a walkway like in front of a store or strip mall?

first, load the appropriate curtain wall door or window family into your project.
second, (assuming you have your curtain grids in place) hover over where you want to insert, tab until you get the glazing pane, click to select and choose your door from the drop down menu.
as for the awening, you can either have an external family or just create a glass roof...
