I am having trouble figuring out how to set phases and object styles to show new partitions as solid fill and existing partitions as no fill. Does anyone know how to do that? thanks.

i have a quick video i can send you of me doing it with no audio. but if you follow it you will acheive what you want. what is your email address or pm me with it and i will email asap. easier and quicker than writing it all out.
