My building model was originally drawn with a First Floor elevation of 0'-0". I would like to change this to 100'-0" (so that footings etc. have a positive elevation), however when I try to change just the first floor level tag (hoping everything updates), revit does not like it (constraints are not satisfied).
Is there a way to do this?
Thanks.

TOOLS>PROJECT POSITION/ORIENTATION>RELOCATE THIS PROJECT
Select a base point in a section or elevation view and move the project up as required. Once you select the base point, you can just type in the amount you want it to move up or down.
Hope that helps.

Thanks, but this does not seem to work. The building moved 100' but the levels still read -First Floor 0'-0", -Bottom of Footing -4'-0" etc. Any other ideas?

You are missing the last step to allow the level annotation to show the shared elevation. Edit the properties of the level type, click Edit/New and change the Base Elevation value to Shared. Going from memory here, don't have Revit open. I wrote a blog article about this a week or two ago...here's a link:

This worked great for setting my level elevations. When I go to my plan (previous 0'-0" & now 85'-0") and try to give a spot elevation on a steel beam it gives me 0'-0". Did I miss something?
Thanks,

What are your settings for your spot elevation?
Did you know that the spot elevation can be set to relative or survey?
Relative .... relative to your project (not survey) base. Also can be relative to the reference level.
So again.... look at and tell us what your settings are. Also read your HELP:
