How do I get the inside face of a split face face block to show as just regular block without the split face pattern, (in elevation) while keeping the split face pattern on the exterior face.

Did you try using the paint bucket tool? Try 'Painting' the interior face with the regular block material (that has the regular block pattern as the surface patter) and see if that works.

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders. The most famous is never get involved in a land war in asia, but only slightly less well known is this! Never go in against a Sicilian when death is on the line! |
