See attached file.
After selecting the horizontal wall, it shows the blue dot & veritcle red hashmark, signifying the true end point location of the wall. What allows that true endpoint to separate from the visible endpoint when you're in regular drawing mode.
Also, probably the same answer, but what allows the true endpoint location to become abscurred in regular drawing mode

Not sure what I did anymore. I think I fixed it. Anyway went back into file to resave image as a pdf
and couldn't get the same view. Wall join was fixed. I might have done disallow join or something.
If I run into the same situation I'll resubmit the post.
