Where do you go to create your own shortcut keys.
Eight years of keyboard shortcuts is hard to give up.
Thank in Advance

"C rogram FilesAutodesk Revit Building 9ProgramKeyboardShortcuts.txt"
I think using the keyboard for one thing and the mouse for another works
better and faster. That why God gave us two hands

Thanks,
Do I just edit that document by typing my letter choice between the quotation marks
or do I need to go somewhere else?
I placed PL between the quotation marks and saved the changes. Tried plotting a view using my new PL shortcut but it didn't take.

Yes, this is the only place to change your shortcuts.
When your shortcut doesn't work you have to copy/paste
your hole command ex. "U" menu:"Edit-Undo"
and paste it on the top part of your file between "File Menu'
and 'Preferred order section'

Still not getting it.
I've attached the shorcut file to show what I've pasted to the proper area.
Tried to add PL for shortcut to plotting
I really want to get this up and running so if you have any more thoughts I'd appreciate it.
Thanks

I just tried this same shortcut on mine "PL" menu:"File-Print"
and it worked fine.
Check if PL is assigned to another command.
Are you pressing the space bar after you press PL?
Sometimes you have to press the spacebar and sometimes
you don't. You'll learn why when you start using the shortcuts

Doesn't seem to be applied to another command.
All I get is a tone, sounds like an error tone, after I type the "L". Doesn't give me a chance to hit the space bar.
I'll play around with it some more.

I was going to use "U" for a shortcut for "undue". copied it into the upper area.
I typed "U" for undue and the information line referenced a different command: menu- settings- project units.
I looked on the list of hot keys and it showed the shortcut key for menu- settings- project units is supposed be "UN".
Does this make any sense to you.

On the topic of shortcut keys, don't forget about the Revit shortcut highway app you can download in the resources section:
