I have a big project, and need to import many pre-drawn details form AutoCAD. I have imported .dwgs before, and I intend to import these to drafting details for placement on Revit sheets. My question is can Revit recognize an AutoCAD .ctb? How does Revit determin the lineweights of imported .dwgs? <By Category> is what it says in the Visibility/Graphics dialog. What Category, how do I set the category? As always any help is greatly appreciated. Archwestcy

If you go to File-> Import/Export Setings->IMport Line Weights DWG/DXF. You should be able to set line weights in the Revit file corresponding to the .DWG colours.

Thanks. I found what you were talking about (Import/Export Settings => Import Lineweights DWG/DXF). I found that you can create several "importlineweights" files for all of the differant .ctb styles that you may run into. Then, when importing a .dwg you can chose which one to use. This is going to help out a lot. Thanks ArchWestCY
