Do you know if there is a way to take a "snapshot" of a screen image. If so, does it maintain the integrity of the scale that the image was drawn at? I'm thinking you could use this to help build a detail library. Randy

Tried the print screen button? "Prnt Scrn". Then you open word, pain or some other program and choose paste. If you press Alt at the same time as you press print screen, you will only get the active window. See the atached file

That works pretty slick. Always wondered how to use the print screen button. Still trying to figure out how to add a view with other than 2D line objects to a different drawing. Hoping to capture just the linework in order to add to my detail library. The print screen shows residual information that I wouldn't want in a drawing set. Any other suggestions.

How about this; In the menu bar; "File" then " Export" and finaly "Image". It is almost like a "printscreen" but without anything else but the current Revit view itself. Post edited on 2006-07-11 20:01:06

If you get a programme called printkey and then press the PrtScn button you will be able to choose certian area's that you want. You can also save it directly from there.
