I am unable to determine why my structural columns appear in one detail callout view but do not appear in another detail callout view. When I copy and paste the same view with desired and correct strcutrual column visiblity into the same 'parent' plan it works, but if I cut and paste into another level it does not work. 1. I have made sure that the columns are in the correct workset and workset is visible. 2. The columns are 'structural' columns and VG is correct. 3. Unfortunately, I am unable to post the project for troubleshooting. Thank you for the help. Any advice is appreciated.

Without seeing what you have, you may want to just look at the View Properties for both levels.

I found a work-around (in other online forums) . For others with the same issue, if you 'join' the column to the structural slab it then appears in the callout detail (that is why it appeared in one of my views). This seems like a Revit bug, but there may be some other revit-logic for structural columns to behave this way. Thank you bobg for the post.

Open family go to settings-family categories and parameters- uncheck the show family precut in plan view.
