Is there a way of dislaying a section line only in one view! I know of the option "hide at scales coarser than..." but I want to show a section line only in one view. Is there a similiar option of "parent view" of callouts? Can anyone help

If you right click on the actual line of the section reference in the view you don't want it shown, and select "Hide annotation in view" it should hide the reference in that particular view. This may be a little time consuming if you have a number of views. I'm not aware of any "blanket" commands which allow you to select multiple views.

I was aware of that option!! But dont really want to spend the time turning the section line of in all view which counts up to about 50 times, and then not just one section line!! I would have thought the command should be able to work the other way round, in other words instead of just turning it off in one view, just letting it be visible in one view!!

If you make a separate section/elevation type called 'XXX', you can create create a new filter under visibility graphics and filter by Family and type 'XXX'. This will hide all sections/elevations called that name.
