Howdy-
I'm new to Revit, but have been at the parametrics for a while. I helped a previous office move from AutoCAD14 to Vectorworks, and am currently moving our office from ACAD2002 to Revit.
Our firm does mostly multifamily residential and mixed-use along transit corridors, with an environmental bent.
We are starting with a trial run of Revit6.1 to design and document a custom residential home in SoCal. It has a unique elliptical lighthouse-esque tower rising from it, which should provide an interesting challenge, and good test of Revit capabilities. You can bet I'll be asking lots of questions of the community, and hopefully getting up to speed quickly so I can answer a few, too.

Well here I am again after a week (which included 3 days at the Austin City Limits music fest), and I think we're just about ready to print Presentation Documents (One Site Plan, Three 1/4" Plans, One Section, Four Inked Elevations (by hand), One 3D Lighting Study, Two Site Perspectives, One House Perspective, and One .avi FlyBy on CD). Were able to get 98 % of designer redlines picked through (and the study to figure out how to allow Revit to do it !!!).
