Is it possible to create/change the actual dimensions to text? In other words have it say “Field Verify this wall” as apposed to “15’6” or whatever. This is possible in AutoCAD, but so far I’ve had no luck in Revit.

You could add a suffix or prefix to the dimension to add text, just click on the dimension (singular only) and click properties and add the desired text. There is no way i know of though to actually hide the dimension value, alternatively you can add text over the value with an opaque background...

Ok that works, but not quite well enought. Is it possible to change the Unit Format in the properties of a dimension to Rounding to the Nearest 1000'. So if I use this dimension on a room thats 14' wide I won't actually get a dimensions, and then if I "Supress 0 Feet" I'll be able to enter text in the suffix or prefix box and have it show up as the dimension????

All I can say is give it a try! what we do is add a VIF suffix if the dimension is to be verified in field.
