I recently had a problem downloading fill patterns. After much trial and error, and consulting with another Revit user, I was able to overcome the problem, but it seems like an awkward way to download patterns. As an example when I download a brick pattern from RevitCity and save it to my library it is saved as “2x2_Brick_Pattern_87_pat.htm” file. I then have to go back into my library and rename the file “2x2_Brick_Pattern_87.pat” before I can import the pattern into a project. Is there an easier way to download, so it can be done in one step?

your patterns should be downloading as .pat files directly and not as .htm files
what web browser are you using

Hi there just thought I'd share this familiy I did a long time ago. Just bring it into your project and it will load alot of the hatch patterns that you can find out there.
