I posted a Q the other day, but maybe I can re-phrasei it differently because I am confused by my own question.
What I did was create a DWF (2d) from Revit. I then brought it into the DWF composer program and did some redlines. I then linked the DWF, with the redlines, back into the Revit model. So far, so good, but here is the problem that I am running into. Say in Revit I decide to move something, like a wall. Once I do that, I want to re-create the DWF. What I want to do is overwrite the DWF that was linked because it refers to the same view. The problem is that all of my notes now become uneditable objects in the DWF composer program. How do I keep this from happening? Any ideas? Any help would be great. Thanks

sashk, I've never had any luck with DWFs in Revit so I can't help you much with your question, but thought I could at least point you to AUGI.com. Not sure if you are aware of it, but since it is Autodesk based, you may be able to get more answers about DWF and Revit working together over there.

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders. The most famous is never get involved in a land war in asia, but only slightly less well known is this! Never go in against a Sicilian when death is on the line! |

IF I MAY ....
have not tried incorporating DWF file with REVIT
notes:
:: DWF file format saved from ACAD is used for client viewer or stand alone client access
somehow it is a protected/encrypted form used only for 'Viewing' and NOT intended for
editing;
:: DXF ( standard DRawing Interchange Files ) format is most common used for interchanging
3rd party CADD programs;
also
::3DS formats are widely used for 3d or solid models exportation from ACAD to other PROGS;
would suggest if you have the source drawing (DWG) to save it in DXF or DWG prior to
using it with REVIT.
