Good morning, new guy getting back into Revit. And a bit rusty. I have created a crude steel structure 9 stories tall. This was started in Revit 2023. Elevation of 0'-0" for both models. I have another model from my plant engineer showing the process engineering model which has been "CAD linked" (not imported) into my steel frame model. I'm noticing two things. 1. The framing model which I created behaves as expected with the height levels (Structural Plans) going up through the various heights of the tower. IE; the view ranges behave according to the view range dialog box changes. However - the linked model is completely ignoring the view range settings per Structural Plan level. In plan views the linked model looks the same all the way up to the top level. You can see from the screen clip it is not the same all the way up. Please note: the "linked CAD" model was initially created in Plant 3D but exported to autocad. 2. I'm simply doing something wrong in my project setup I think. Should it be possible to detect collisions between these two models?? The initial purpose of this experiment was to see where/if there might be collisions between the process engineering and the structural framing. Screen clip enclosed. I expect more information is necessary to pursue a fix. Tim
