I have been on the hunt for a parametric light switch family that will allow for proper quantity take-offs for an electrician. I need a family that has an electrical box/gang box option from single (1) through quad (4) AND has the ability to set the individal switches inside the box to certain types (single pole, 3-way, dimmer, etc.) The intended outcome is to be able to set the box to the correct number of switches in it and then determine the type of switch for each on inside the box so that when a switch schedule is made it can produce the number of 1-gang/2-gang/3-gang/4-gang boxes in the project as well as a count for the number of regular/3-way/dimmer/etc. switches.
If anyone has a link or any idea how to build this family, any help would be greatly appreciated!
