Hi, I've been trying to figure out a way to make my plan view of a cut wall look different than the same wall in a section view. Lets say I have a wall that is brick on metal stud. In the plan view, you would want to see the cross hatch on the brick and the metal stud layer to be grey, and the gypsum board to have the sand fill pattern, and so forth and so on. Now, in the section view, you would want to see the same thing, but only no hatch in the stud layer. I don't want to have to put a fill pattern over the studs in the section view. I've tried making the stud material white in the materials settings, and then in the plan view, in visibility graphics, under Override Model Patterns, I sellected Cut Patter Color, and changed it to grey. This worked for the plan view and everything in section looked correct too. However, there is one draw back and i can't figure out a way around it. When I do the Override Model Patterns, Cut Pattern Color, it changes all the cut fill patterns to grey, and I only want the Solid Fill Pattern to be grey, not the Brick. Any suggestions?

You could use Coarse Scale in plan view and Medium or Fine Scale in section. I would sat use filters but that only lets you override cut and projection line styles and not patterns.
Maybe you can change the Cut Pattern Color Override to White in your Visibility Graphics. The cut pattern shouldn't plot then.
