Hi
I have worked several years with revit but perhaps not to a high degree of complexity in large gruops etc and I am sure there is a lot of improvement in terms of how the files are set up. I was given a quite detailed revit model that had all the furniture and the materials etc which made it very slow to work in. I understand worksets may be a better way to split the file up but as this is one of the few restrictions with revit LT currently I decided to split up it into an architecture model and an interior model and link them. The positive thing with that is that the files are a bit faster to work in but there is also a safe feature that allows people to move around the furniture but it would involve an extra step should they want to actually move any internal walls. This is all fine but I have also set up all the views in the architectural model and this is probably where the largest frustration is. I want to work on the internal elevation views but as the views are set up in the architectural model fiddeling back and forth is quite frustrating.
As writing this I thought a solution would be to unload the links and have both models open at the same time but the issue is that then the elevations would not look accurate.
I am also aware that lower resultion furniture is to be prefered for performance reasons.
Any tips on how to organise a better workflow?
