I have used a REvit for a couple of months, you can call me a newbie yet if you want!

Anyways, I wanted to do this half basketball field but when I did finish, I tried to render but the lines if the basketball field didnt show up since its a model line, even Revit says model lines are 3D and visible in all views.I used a style created by me: . line weight: 16 . color: yellow . linetype: solid and other one dashed

Done this way, in the visual style: realistic looks pretty nice as I want, but when I render it, it just doesnt show up.Any idea? or any other idea to overthrough this?

Model lines in rendering - Autodesk Community - Revit Products

I read this revit forum, which only had one answering to use photoshop which I do not understand that much of it. Or use render Viz, which I never heard about. Or export to sketchUp, which I dont use either.

Do your court markings as a very thin extrusion laying on the court surface.

This is how I see them, the first one is on realistic view, and the second one is the renderization view

Here is a family with the court markings for a basic basketball court I use all the time. You can easily modify this to suite your layout and then you can jsut place it in your project.

As WWHub stated you just use thin extrusions to make the marking lines and then apply a material to them to have them render the way you want
