I was wondering those of you who show floor patterns on floor finish plans, how do you show a random lvt pattern? I worked hard on making a floor pattern with the correct size lvt but in an ashlar pattern as this was the simplist. My boss thinks will be confusing to the people in the field even though the schedule states random pattern layout.

Random is pretty much impossible with the way revit patterns work unless you want to make a pat file with like 200 different line definitions for the pattern.
The best way may just be to make a filled region of you tile size and then place it in your plan with a bunch of differing orientations until it is suitable and fills the space. Other than this I think everything else would be way too time consuming.
