I created a lidar scan of a room that has an unusual ceiling, that has different levels. I'm trying to figure out the best way to model it in Revit.
So far, I have used EdgeWise to create a Generic Model of the ceiling elements, which I imported into Revit.
I'm not sure how to create a ceiling, or any geometry and be able to position it, so that it will line up with my generic model pieces, that represent where the ceiling should go.
Does anyone have any ideas for how I could move forward?
THank you for your help.

It would appear that the best option is to do an in-place family using sweeps and a profile family.
I would create the profile to go across the room with the large middle section and the upward flair pieces on the sides. Then in section you would draw the path.
You could then use voids to trim down anything outside of the footprint required.
Each segment should be done separately.
